Civil and Commercial Mediation

Do I need to be represented in the mediation?

You do not have to be represented by a solicitor.  You can come alone or with a friend or colleague.  However, we will encourage you to contact a solicitor if we feel you need legal advice.  In larger or more complicated cases clients will often attend mediation with their own legal and other professional advisers, and will have the opportunity of discussing the progress of the negotiations as the mediation progresses.
