Counselling lCreative Arts Therapy
Life can bring many difficulties and overwhelming feelings which can be hard to cope with, leaving you feeling unsure where to turn. Therapy can help you understand how you feel and find a way to move forward.
It is important to find a way that works for you. As a Counsellor and Integrative Psychotherapist as well as a State Registered Art Psychotherapist, I offer you ways of working tailored to suit you. I find that supporting clients to express their feelings through image making often leads to a deeper understanding of issues. If you prefer talking therapy, I am equally happy with that. What interests me is improving the quality of your life, whatever your current experience.
If you would like to talk about what is troubling you, I can offer you a confidential space to talk and be listened to.
I work with adults of all ages and backgrounds. I also work with young people from age 16. I can address all kinds of issues that affect your day-to-day life and the way you cope. This includes working together on anxiety, stress, depression, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, loss, life transitions and physical health problems, amongst other issues.
I work in private practice, adult education and for the 2gether NHS Foundation Trust for Gloucestershire. I offer both short-term and long-term counselling and therapy.
