We help neighbours resolve disputes which are affecting their comfort, their security and the enjoyment of their property, without the expense and worry of Court proceedings.
Everyone feels confused, unhappy or worried at times. Events such as bereavement, unemployment, relationship problems, illness or a crisis in life can bring up strong feelings and provoke depression, anxiety and a loss in self-confidence. Others find themselves at a cross-road in life and want to take stock. Either way, it can be helpful to talk things over in confidence with someone outside the situation, who will not judge nor direct, and who has experience of helping people through difficult times.
You may choose to explore and gain confidence at a pace that feels comfortable to you in open-ended counselling, or you may prefer to focus on one problem in time-limited counselling for an agreed number of weeks.
I am an experienced and fully-qualified psychodynamic counsellor, with a WPF Diploma in Counselling (through Gloucestershire Counselling Service, in conjunction with the University of the West of England), and I am accredited with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP (Accredit.). I work to the BACP Code of Ethics, respecting Equal Opportunities and Data Protection.
Sessions cost £37, subject to annual review. If you are on benefits or otherwise unable to pay the fee, reductions can sometimes be negotiated.
